Winter Petition

There is a petition online to get the canceled Wii game by the name of Winter back into production. It's a survival/horror game developed by N-Space, the makers of Geist. The Publishers aren't willing to take chances on original hardcore game projects for Wii even if they think the game concepts are great.

Sign the petition and lets hope this game gets made! It is set during a snowstorm and surviving the storm is your biggest priority. The Dev. team stated that the reason it was canceled in the first place was that the publishers just didn't feel the public was ready for such an adult oriented game on a kid oriented system.

Maxis To Release Wii Exclusive Spore Game

Maxis have said that Spore Hero should be on shelves this fall.

Square Enix Brings New Game To WiiWare

Square Enix, developers of the Final Fantasy Series, have revealed that they are bringing a new game to the WiiWare Catalog. It's Called Crystal Defenders, if you have ever played Tower Defense then you see the similarities. The enemies come at you and you have to kill them all before they reach the end of their paths. The game will apparently feature characters from Final Fantasy Tactics A2 for the DS.

This could be an entirely new game developed stricly for WiiWare, or it could just be a port of the game they already released. Only time will tell...

The Conduit Trailer

Check out this new trailer for The Conduit, Sega's hotly anticipated Wii shooter. Definitely one of the better looking Wii games to date. Still nothing in comparison to the other two systems though. If the gameplay makes up for it then its not really any issue. Only time will tell.

Wii Continues To Dominate In Sales

Microsoft and Sony have been left behind as of late. Nintendo's system may be flooded with shitty games, but people are still buying those shitty games. The Wii is hot right now and although the xbox has better games, the Wii still prevails.
Nintendo's Wii sold 3.25 million units in December. Nearly triple the number of Xbox 360s sold. Microsoft's console scored 1.35 million units in sales, with PlayStation 3 selling only 750,000. Even with the slumping economy, industry experts see growth within the coming months.

Nintendo Hard At Work On New Console

Nintendo's Global President, Satoru Iwata, has stated that Nintendo are hard at work on the follow up to their popular motion sensing console. No specifics were revealed yet but he mentioned that they started working on the project as soon as they finished their last project, the Wii.

The console may be coming sooner than we think, judging by these indications. Famed game designer Shigeru Miyamoto has completed work on all his games for the new console. It is also mentioned that the new system will again be very affordable. As no more details have been released yet, it's hard to say whether the big N will follow that same road of simpler technology is better, or finally jump on the graphics bandwagon and present the games at the same graphical level as Sony and Microsoft's consoles.
